Public affairs

We want to hear your views, ideas and suggestions, including the problems you and your communities may face. This will help us to improve transport services and their accessibility for people working, living and visiting in London.

These teams will be happy to help you:

National and London-wide engagement

We are committed to working with London's diverse communities. The Stakeholder Advocacy and Engagement team meets regularly with organisations that represent our City such as businesses, industry bodies, road user groups, passenger representatives, statutory watchdogs, consumer groups, think tanks and organisations representing London's diverse communities, including older and disabled people, young people, parents, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT+).

Questions about raising money for charity or gifts in kind? See the guidance on our Charities pages.

Borough and community engagement

The Local Community Partnership team builds and manages relationships with London's 32 boroughs, the City of London, London Councils and local community groups to improve transport across the capital.

Team members engage and consult on new local transport initiatives such as road safety schemes, town centre improvements, and walking and cycling projects.

The team also runs a survey every two years - see the latest survey on Boroughs and communities page.

If you have questions or concerns about specific services such as fares and ticketing or accessible travel, find out how to get in touch on Help & contacts.

Report issues with a road or assets like streetlights on the Streetcare tool.

Government relations

The Government Relations team looks after our relationships with political stakeholders, acting as single point of contact for Ministers, Members of Parliament, Peers and London Assembly Members. It also manages our partnerships with political institutions including Government department and agencies, Parliament, the London Assembly, UK cities and regions, and international organisations.
