Cycle parking
At stations
There are over 20,000 cycle parking spaces at stations across London. Many free spaces are near the entrance, in our station car parks or in dedicated hubs.
You can also use secure Cycle Hubs which provide secure and covered spaces near stations, including at:
- Enfield Town and Edmonton Green (Enfield)
- Finsbury Park (Islington)
- Hammersmith (Hammersmith & Fulham)
- Heathrow (Hillingdon)
- Waltham Forest (Blackhorse Road, Chingford, Highams Park, Lea Bridge, Leyton, Leytonstone, St James Street, Walthamstow Central and Wood Street)
There's also cycle parking at National Rail stations.
On streets
There are almost 150,000 on-street cycle parking spaces across London.
Off streets
Some authorities in London provide secure cycle parking in their car parks. This includes the City of London which has free, 24-hour cycle parking in car parks it owns.
Other privately operated secure cycle parking facilities are also available (for example, Spokesafe).
Secure residential parking
You can use a cycle hangar - a safe, covered place to park your cycle - if you do not have secure storage at home. There are over 30,000 spaces across London, with thousands more being installed by London boroughs.
You can register your interest for a space in a cycle hangar through your local council. Some providers also record interest on their own websites (for example Cyclehoop and Falco).
Protect your cycle
To keep your cycle safe, you should register it with BikeRegister or Immobilise.
If your cycle is stolen, you need to report a cycle crime.
