Taxi and minicab fares
We set taxi (black cab) fares. The maximum fare payable for a taxi journey will be shown on the taximeter at the end of the journey.

Private hire (including minicab) fares are set by the private hire company but you should always ask for a quote when booking a private hire vehicle.
Complaints about taxi or private hire fares and overcharging should be reported to us so we can investigate them. Details of how to contact us are available here.
