Planning a journey with your buggy
One of the best ways of finding your way around London with a buggy is to use our Journey Planner - select 'Travel options and accessibility' when planning your journey to personalise your results.
You can also use our TfL Go app to plan your step-free journey.
Or our Customer Service team can help you find the most convenient route. Speak to a member of the team on 0343 222 1234 (call charges may apply).
You can find out when your next bus is coming online.
Our online station information includes details of the busiest times to travel at each Tube station. If you are able to travel outside the busiest times, your journey could be more comfortable.
There may be times that station lifts and escalators are unavailable, or stations are closed.

Use our maps and guides
Download or order our maps to make it easier to plan your journey by public transport.
On the Tube map the wheelchair symbols show where you can expect to find level access on our network.
These stations are step-free, so you can get to platforms without escalators or stairs. There's also a level access between trains and platforms. At some stations, look out for raised sections of the platform, where it will be easier for you to board.
These stations are also step-free, but there is no level access between the train and platform, so there will be a vertical step or horizontal gap when you board.
Information about the size of the step and gap at step-free stations is available in our Step-free Tube guide. It is designed for wheelchair users, but is also useful when travelling with a buggy.
The Avoiding stairs Tube guide shows Tube and DLR stations where you can get from the street to the platform without using stairs. This may include using lift, escalators or ramps.
Our Toilet map shows where toilets and baby changing facilities are available at our stations.
There are several bus maps available in PDF format. You can select spider maps by borough or search for route numbers or area.
